My crappy blog

As a long time lurker, I've finally figured out that I can post some stuff from my blog that is Amiga related as it might help some people to learn from my mistakes :) Latest first: https://retrohax.net/amiga-2000-codename-tesseract/ https://retrohax.net/amiga-2000-semi...furb-part-one/ https://retrohax.net/amiga-1000-proj...x-motherborad/ https://retrohax.net/amiga-1200-s-video-mod-and-refurb/ https://retrohax.net/amiga-600-mods-and-repairs/ https://retrohax.net/extreme-refurbi...ric-amiga-500/ https://retrohax.net/amiga-500-mods-2/ https://retrohax.net/amiga-cdtv-just...-refurbishing/ https://retrohax.net/amiga-600-recap...d-minor-fixes/ https://retrohax.net/amiga-600-keyboard-membrane-fixes/ https://retrohax.net/amiga-600tdp-the-dark-project/ |

One of the crappiest blogs I've seen, but that is referring to the amount of gunk seen in your refurb pictures. Great stuff!

|
Thanks, guys! this really motivates me to push on with harder projects! :)
|
As much as I love the Amiga, there is no way I'd even start a project like that 2000 you've done - I just dont have the patience for it :D
Well done :D |
Finally, after over 2.5 years The Tesseract project is complete.Details in the blog post https://retrohax.net/amiga-2000-code...ct-final-part/

What an awesome blog you have here. Congratulations on such great projects already made. :)

That mineral oil treatment made the CD32 look like new. How does that work? Do you just apply the oil and wait? I guess it has to be a specific type of oil?
