would you like to have an Outrun like for Aga?
what do you think to have an Outrun like game but for Aga??how could it be??

If you write it, I will play it ;)

That would be pretty cool :)
It would have been nice if some of the more competent Amiga developers decided to remake some of the early releases, fully utilizing the accelerators and extra ram. I`m still waiting for good Amiga remakes on PSN and XBLA...Sensible soccer on the Xbox 360 was okay but the controller killed it for me... |

@s2325 Is that a quick photoshop job? Adds some depth that`s for sure.

No, it was made with free PhotoFiltre.

Surely with AGA power we would need the blonde haired lady in the Ferrari to be sexier than Elvira?
|
Mmmmmm Elvira :spin
|
If someone is making this can they make an AGA ChaseHQ too :)
|
I'm thinking about doing it for Aga.but I'm only a programmer...and I could be interesting to share idea and way to do things great..

Been thinking on this. Adding AGA to Amiga Outrun is a waste of time. The port is awful, so a compete rewrite would be needed.
|
Exactly. You'd end up with a shitty game with a nice graduated sky! :)
|
I know of at least one team who have already started working on something like this, and I think it's fantastic, Amigas are capable of much better racing games and I hope we get the opportunity to prove it.
|
Missing good racing games was one reason to get a PC, another and the most important reason was handling digital photos.
|
Would nice to have a new racing game that supports AGA, is it too much more work writing a new engine rather than modding an old game?
Although its gonna be an old style, modern concepts could be applied like a proper multiple league, car ownership, buying parts and repairing in a garage... something that would bring a lot of replay value... winning cash to buy new stuff to allow to enter into faster races? ...what the hell, how about a test track and saveable lap/track times |
better racing games for the amiga, I`m all for that idea
