Cybersphere Plus (full release)

Greetings EAB peeps!

Tonight I bring you Cybersphere Plus (coz the Aussies are sucking worse than a monster black hole in the Ashes test! :p). An amazingly addictive breakout clone, I dare anyone to put it down after just one game!!!

Curiously, this game was missing from HOL despite the widespread availability of a demo and the presence in HOL of its predecessor, Cybersphere.

http://hol.abime.net/6110 (new HOL entry)

Some peeps here were chasing the full release of Cybersphere Plus in another thread, but it doesn't appear to be available in TOSEC or anywhere else on the net. I managed to get hold of it recently in a compilation containing both Cybersphere and Cybersphere Plus (soon to get a HOL entry of its own!).

In the Zone. Enjoy! :cool

A raw dump of Cybersphere Plus made using KryoFlux Free is now in the Zone for anyone interested. Enjoy!

thanks master for this :great
cybersphere is/was the best arkanoid game for the amiga
I noted there is an executable for AGA but it seems the game is not AGA

which are the differences with the common version?
different levels ?

This game has not been industrially duplicated :)

Like the original Cybersphere release, Cybersphere Plus is OCS/ECS. All the AGA game icon does is run a degrader before launching the game. The graphics on AGA machines are corrupted otherwise.

While the developer released it as a sequel, it's quite similar to the original Cybersphere (which is no bad thing!).....but with more interesting layouts and challenging levels.

Not surprising as it was part of a budget compilation released in the late 90s by Nordlicht, who were a German PD company. AFAIK the only other commercial game they released was another little budget gem called Mega Typhoon! :cool

Hi Guys,

I just read this old Thread, here.
As I can read here you just find the Full Version of Cybersphere and C Plus.
But if you just interested what the Original Compilation from the 90s was looking for,
here is a picture of the Nordlicht Games Cybersphere and Mega Typhoon
which I both have here.
Their were be sold in a Jewelcase with a Disk inlay.

HOL says 4 Stars rare... OK here is it.

I already have the original version of this game and it's very interesting because the game offers a game for ECS and AGA, and whether we play one version or the other Higscore connect. I recommend that you make a copy of the original game because the game saves the scores on a floppy disk after each end of the game. Well, unless we save the game to disk or protect the floppy disk against writing.

Sadly it's not an AGA version, it just has a "AGA fixed" script it runs to make it run on AGA machines.

It may be, but it works fine.
