Speed up Amiga realtime clock - how?
Hello everyone,
I am looking for a way to make a game run faster than normal in WinUAE. My PC hardware is fast enough. Simply playing with the CPU options in WinUAE will not do the job, because the game apparently synchronizes its speed with the Realtime clock, so it always runs the same no matter what processor etc. I select. I figure what I need is a way to make the emulated Amiga realtime clock faster than normal. Can this be done in WinUAE? |
Try the FPS adj slider in Display options ;)

@Rabbit80
The FPS slider doesn't work like that, well at least it won't help here ;) @seuden Might be a tad too fast :D Look at this thread DeathAndPain : http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=39919 It seems that there is no way to speed up those games in a 'controlled' way. |
warp mode is excellent and did the job! Thank you!

Another game where I can imagine this to be useful is Serf City. |
Ah, I see :) Yes for wait times the warp mode is great. I thought you wanted to speed up a game just a bit. Good to hear it's sorted.
