Kickstart Switcher

Anyone know where I can buy an A500 Kickstart Switcher that requires no case modification?

AmigaKit has one at https://amigakit.amiga.store/catalog...roducts_id=947 but it's out of stock.

Bonus points if it allows 3 Kickstarts (1.3, 2.0 and 3.1 ideally - just because I want 3).

You can search for this..

Sometimes i have seen this Item on Ebay or one of the Amiga Reseller listed on the Retro.7-Bit Homepage.

Good Luck

It's a shame it's always so expensive. I think I'll watch eBay for them.

Thanks RetroMan-Jack!

If I remember right, I still have couple switchless kickstart switchers in my shelves.

Supports 8 kickstarts so you can easily fit 1.2, 1.3, 2.04, 3.1 and DiagRom in the same device.

I've usually asked 27e (Paypal friends&family) for it in "Commodore Amiga"-facebook group which includes shipping to Europe.

I've built a few of keirf's multi kickstart, I have roms to build 4 or 8 versions, and the only thing you have to do is wrap a wire around a pin of Paul. If you're interested, I'll take a picture for you and you can tell me which kickstarts you want for your A500/600/2000 and I can make you one.

edit : just realized jonni here also has some too :)

After this is fully assembled (board mounted to the chip and soldered to the pins) is it possible to reprogram the eprom? For example to update an image or to add an additional image? Or can you only program the eprom when it's not attached to the board?

Do you include the probe that clips onto the pin of Paula?
