Aladdin demo The One 74
 

i was just trying to make work this AGA demo, without luck until now

whatever configuration, it always stuck at boot, with a screen with vertical blue and red bars

was wondering if the demo is still protected or bad dumped
tried also some other adf's and raw images got in the ftp, same result

i also see there are a couple of threads about the game itself, seems has been also problematic to make it work correctly

same thing, or a different cause?

i needed just to disable CPU caches in the early boot

when extracted, has overwritten another one i had (that didn't work)

I made an IPF out of this one, it uses the John Twiddy Disk Format.

cool idea, seems there are a lot of unworking adf's around :great

also with different checksums, still bad

The demo is copy protected just like the original!

Could you upload the IPF? I would like to replace the RAW disk image if I can :)

i'm doing some funny and paradoxial configurations tries atm
just discovered that Lion King (at least the demo) works also with a 68000 CPU, combined with AGA chipset

a lot more slowdowns, but it works
crazy bizarre tries, possible only thanks to WinUAE

I already cracked this one 3 years ago, its on the file server somewhere

EDIT: Go onto the file server and do a search for "the one coverdisk 74" and it should show up :great

i had already taken your Amiga Power 44 Aladdin cracked demo on ftp, but didn't know about also this

i haven't tried the other one yet, if there are differences

also disabling the CPU caches on early boot?
