Freescale 68060 Rev 6 CPUs + overclock kit

Selling FreeScale MC68060RC50 CPUs with latest mask (71E41J) full MC variant (with FPU and MMU), they are used and have marks but I have personally tested and verified each CPU to run at 80MHz, in some gear with proper cooling they've seen running at 110MHz (not tested). They are the best available genuine version.

Asking $180 for one kit, plus $20.50 shipping anywhere in the world.

Kit includes:
- FreeScale 68060 Rev 6 (71E41J) CPU
- Brand new low profile heatsink with built in 5V fan, including adhesive pad
- 80 MHz crystal
- CPU puller tool

Holy Thread resurrection Batman! :cheese

Considering this was first posted in 2018 and with a high demand for 68060 CPUs for the Warp1260 I would have thought so :D

digiflip 19 September 2021 11:35

yeah but if never ask you never know. I would like to know model number and make of fan though in this kit?

stevelord 19 September 2021 19:01

Hmmm... I have a spare 68060 71E41J I bought from Salocinx a few months back but haven't used. No overclock kit, although I also have a spare A3660. Would either of those do for you?

grelbfarlk 20 September 2021 03:47

I would like another Rev6 060, but I won't pay more than I have for the last couple which I bought in the last few years at around $125 shipped. With the semiconductor shortage and covid concerns I will be willing to pay an additional $10 for a grand total of $135. Who's got me?

digiflip 21 September 2021 22:44

pmed u im also in uk too

If you're expecting to pay $135 for a rev6 060 in 2021, I think you're entirely on your own and no ones "got you" :laughing :D :nuts

I have read in other threads about the Motorola riots where people are tearing limbs off of each other and eating babies for a Rev6 060, I won't go that far. So I will increase my max amount $15 to $150.

You're on the wrong forum. Go over to http://Amibay.com and use search

yep tried 134$ option on aliexpress and was a remarked lc 060 rev4 has rev6, cost ten pounds to return and nearly 2 months for refund, so aliexpress is crap for customer service

So how's this working out for you so far. Got yourself a Rev 6 060 for $150 yet? :nervous

He’s probably saving up for a Delorian Time machine first :crazy
So he can go back in time to buy them at the price he wants. ;)

Probably doesn’t realise that Motorola don’t make the chips anymore and neither do Freescale :lol

Hedeon 14 December 2021 20:16

It's Mr Sarcastic. He knows. :-) /waves at @grelbfarlk.

It's now cheaper to get a 450MHz G4 for your big box PCI bridge.

grelbfarlk 15 December 2021 05:57

I don't have another rev6 060 yet. If worst comes to worse, I could pull one out of one of the WarpEngines. But like my Rev 0s and Rev 5s I'm a little concerned whether they'll actually run at 60-66MHz ok. So easiest thing to do is get another rev6.

@Hedeon, haven't you heard, PPC is dead and they aren't making more of these. Therefore even if your PPC is 10x faster than a Rev6 060, you can't get them that cheap. It's a fact™

Pyromania 16 December 2021 04:12

The 68060 costs 504 Euro and comes with a free Vampire.

coldacid 16 December 2021 13:55

That's a 68080, Pyromania ;)

grelbfarlk 16 December 2021 20:52

Hedeon's talking about one of those 68450 for $169 which is more than five times better.
