Amiga 500 Keyboard Dead

Hi, i have amiga 500 keyboard with all keys are dead and put a new membrane but all the keys still do not work, I saw that the led and the rubber of the caps lock are missing, could this lack prevent the keyboard function?

It shouldn't stop it from working.

Check the schematics: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...1&postcount=15

Is the crystal working? Is the kbd controller power up reset working?

I don't know have a two kdb controller same problem....I will try to change with one kdb working.

Update 1: put a working kdb controller the problem remain the same,I am convinced that the caps lock rubber closes the circuit....it is impossible the all key pads to be damaged.

Update 2: i try the old membrane with kbd controller and a one plug rubber for testing, all the key pads results damaged this is absurd!

the caps lock rubber dosnt close the circuit unless you press the caps lock key.
