King's Valley, a new Konami game for Amiga.
Hello Guys,

We removed the antivirus and now we have an standard bootblock, get the updated game: https://masoftware.es/juegos/kvalley...valley-adf.zip We manage to bring you the remastered game with: - 50hz screen update. - 16 colours flashy graphics. - Improve animations for everything. - Smooth Scroll. - 10x10 pixel tiles to make the game full screen. - 8 Songs, MSX SCC sound for your pleasure. - 16 Pyramids. - 2 sound effects styles to choose from (6khz sample quality, but I can make it sounds good). Code: M.A. Soft (in Blitz Basic). Graphics & Sound FX: Toni Galvez (yes, the screaming sounds is me haha). Music: Narcisound (MED format). Tools: Jesús Chicharro. Game developed in 3 months. |
This is a fantastic surprise, brutally hard but really well made :)

Wow didn't expect this. First we get Metal Gear and now Kings Valley!
Brilliant idea to port those games from Konami, easily the best 8 bit games ever made that many didn't get to enjoy because the MSX was not popular in their countries. Going to play it today and hopefully review it for our magazine soon. |
Nice! Was recently released for C64 recently too. Nice game
|
Ha cool :) I don't know what it is about this game but it is an incredible amount of fun.
Let's keep the trend going! Road Fighter, Zanac, Eggerland! :) I did a rough port to the PC myself a long time ago as a hobby/training project and I gave all the ghosts their own little AI routine. The red one was a terminator that would home in on you, the yellow one would run away if you had a sword, those kind of things. Was fun to implement. |
Awesome. I played this one on my msx a lot when I was a young and moved to the amiga later. Next one up... Knightmare please!
|
I will be happy to work on redo all the graphics of Knightmare for Amiga version. I will need a skilled coder for that.

What about a Time Pilot conversion for Amiga ?
It's a good Konami shoot'em up, but the Kingsoft Space Pilot for Amiga is different, and I like the original. A good conversion has been release for Atari XL. I think on Amiga it can be good as the original arcade. Many thanks for King's Valley, I played it a lot on my old MSX in the 80's |

Nice to be able to start on whatever level though, so you could pickup where you left off ;) |
Played today on V4SA on which it works well.
Game is well done ! C64 version is more difficult. This Amiga version is more playability. The game is very addicitve. |

Well, not Time Pilot 84, though... TP84 Nor a Juno First, that would be also perfect on Amiga... Juno First Darn, 80s konami shooters pre-gradius were something! |
I wish someone would port the arcade version of Xevious to the Amiga ;)
