How to paint in DP3

Hi

After seeing some peoples work on this board using various paint packages on the Amiga i though, lets have a go at this.

I've got a totally bog standard Amiga 600 with deluxe paint 3. Sorry if I'm sounding stupid but do I need one of those special pen's where you can paint using it on a special board? What do I need to get started?

Thanks in advance and sorry if i'm sounding a bit stupid :)

Well, from what little I've used a paint program, you just need a mouse as a minumum. A touch tablet, like from Wacom or something similar works great if you can find the right driver for it. The reason for the touch tablets or drawing tablets is that they have a much higher or finer input resolution. They are very precise input devices as opposed to most mice which are of a lower resolution input device.

Of course all those graphic artists out there will know more then I :)
