I'd be surprised if an Amiga version was ever in serious development, if at all. By 1992 the Amiga was well and truly dead in the U.S. On the face of it, Accolade seemed to agree and had cut its losses by then and stopped devoting any time and money to Ami development in North America (cf. 1991 - see HERE).
Dark Half was developed by a relative newbie U.S. coding team for PC, who didn't have a track record on any other platform. The few Ami games that Accolade did release in 1992/93 were all developed by UK coding teams, so unless Horrorsoft (who did Elvira II and Waxworks in 92/93) were contracted to develop Dark Half too.......like the AP preview said, don't hold your breath! |
