Python V1.4

Hi All,

Thanks to Aminet, I've installed "Python V1.4 for a STANDARD A1200" on my A1200 with 8 meg fast ram installed and running OS 3.1.4, but could someone help me please with a brief set of instructions as to how I edit, compile and run a program in it?

Can I use a standard editor or is a specific programmers editor recommended? Also, there is a v2.0 available as well, but I'm taking it my current setup is insufficient to run that version. Is that right?

2.3 should be able to run on a system with fast RAM. http://www.monkeyhouse.eclipse.co.uk/amiga/python/

you can use python 2.4 on amiga. I've tried and it works. It's ancient, it's slow, but it works.
