Kaiser (Line1) In English?
 

Hi there

I was playing Kaiser by Line1 the other day, and noticed the German language text is available to see in the EXE, and I wondered if someone would like to convert it to English?

I went through the game and changed all the words, but now the game wont load, or at least get into the main game itself after entering your name and location, as I must have overwritten a necessary hard space or carriage return or something by mistake. I'm too lazy to compare the listings and find out where I went wrong, because the game wont run on my system unless I compile it into raw disk format using the WHDLoad installer. So it could take ages to track down my error.

There are a few backdrops in the game which are also in German, but I'm not too worried about those, it would just be nice to play it.

I've attached the EXE of my translation so far, in case others can use the file to help them translate the game.

An easier, and more promising, approach would be to reassemble the binary.
A simple

ira -a -preproc Kaiser

already shows most text nicely - although you could still invest some time to find code/data/text regions in it.

Looks like an English version was at least planned and maybe an unreleased English version existed at one point.

kaiser is in german in any version. "Deluxe" version i have partially English translated
