Amiga Magazines?

Are there any Amiga magazines still being published?
Or isnt there nothing at all out there for us army of Amiga nuts?
Surely there must be something out there for us to read?

If there is, where can I get a copy from? Please dont say a good newsagents as where I live there isnt any!!!

Im just keeping my fingers crossed!! & Toes!!

If there isnt, how the hell are we meant to find out about the new Amiga games (not that theres too many new games!) & also the new computer they're bringing out?

No mainstream Amiga mags left in the UK, I'm afraid. Amiga Format closed in May 2000, and Amiga Active morphed into Digital after 26 issues, in November 2001. As Digital, they maintained a small amount of Amiga coverage, but even Digital seems to have disappeared, after five issues.

Mail order mags/fanzines continue, such as Total Amiga (formerly known as Clubbed). Here is their Website.

Online Amiga sources, for the time being, are the best bet for comprehensive up to date info.

Whats Total Amiga like? Is it a good read? Is it worth its money?
How many pages roughly? (not worth paying for if theres only a few pages?) What does it cover? Any retro stuff?
Will they be dealing with the new so called Amiga?

Will there be 4 more issues? (I'd be gutted if it packed in before my subscription ended!!)

Sorry about all the questions!!:D

Dunno. Never bought it. :rolleyes The website offers all of the previous issues in PDF format, so you can download them and find out. It seems pretty professionally done, and all on Amigas at that. It is quarterly, so up-to-date news probably isn't its aim. It is going bi-monthly in 2002, however. The makers seem like a cool bunch, who laudably seek to make no profit from it.

The website states 39.5 pages of non-advertising content in the latest issue.

They appear to review significant product releases, so I assume they will cover the new Amiga.

It has been running for 3 years, so I think it is safe to assume that it will carry on for some time yet. A single issue costs £3.50, if a subscription is too much commitment.

Dat's okay.
