FS-UAE 2.83 + AmigaOS 4.1 = Black Screen
 

Hi everybody, I tried to install AmigaOS 4.1, on the latest version of the emulator FS-UAE, but after starting I see a black screen (without error message .. just black screen)..

Too many weird options (and some are incompatible / illegal).

Start with a new config, and *only* choose model Amiga 4000 / CyberStorm PPC (AmigaOS 4.x). Everything should be set up correctly for you then.

Just add media (HD, CD, etc) as needed.

I did this .. see screenshots.. but after that I saw a blue screen ...

No, I meant illegal as in invalid. For example, you have specified the cyberstorm ROM as extended ROM, that's wrong. And you cannot use UAEGFX with AmigaOS 4.1 for example.

Rename the cyberstorm ROM to just cyberstormppc.rom (put it in the Kickstarts folder) and it will be found automatically.

After that black screen.. nothing to happened..

I'm getting simillar problem here. The system boots up and I have nothing but black screen after the initial boot splash. Here's my config:

Doesn't know, as this is the problem, but Picasso hadn't 256 MB RAM. Only 4 MB

From my experience, this is caused from a 0 length cyberstorm rom. I didn't see or you didn't post, but make sure you do not have JIT selected as well.
