Mutant league hockey
Hi... I've recently bought Mutant League Hockey for the CD32 and was wondering if there is a manual for it? If so does anyone have a link to where I may be able to download and print it off please? Thanks in advance.

It was listed on ebay, so I bought it. It was just part of someone's collection.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mutant-Le...-/294022456479 that one?
Never released going by HOL? http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?...utant%20league Could be a good find if it is a real promo from back in the day. Won't be a manual for it anywhere |
It sounds like you might have bought a dodgy copy because this was never officially released for the Amiga (it was finally found and made available online for free in 2015). There's a Mega Drive manual. That's probably your best bet to study the general concepts and so on.

See here about Galahad releasing this a few years ago (or did he :) ):

It's definitely a copied disk... but its got a nice etched back to it

It was just part of someone's collection...

Some CD burners can do that type of etching. It's just a guy burning these, coming up with some "promo" lie and selling it with huge profit.

Yes - I had a cd burner that did this a few years back. Made for very pretty CDs!

Of course, as this game was never released. You bought a fake original created by the seller (or the person the seller got it initially from). As you can see from the linked threads above earok (member of this forum) created a cd32 iso. This may well be what you have bought.
The question is: Did you know that you bought a fake original ? This also answers your initial question: As it was never released for the Amiga you won't find an Amiga manual for it. |
I knew it was an unofficial port. I'm new to the homebrew scene and so took a chance. I thought it may have been a limited homebrew release, but now i know different. I still like the actual game and the art work but wanted a manual if there was one. I wouldn't have a clue where to find these things myself. I figured here would be a good place to join and get the info from the people who know. I may make my own manual for it as a little project and use the mega drive one as a template. I want to start collecting CD32 homebrews.

Time to re-add those NOT FOR RESALE disclaimers like in demoscene stuff?
|
@Galahad... do you have a website where I can purchase homebrew stuff in the future? Of atleast download stuff that is free shareware? As I've said, I'm totally new to this game and could do with a few pointers. Cheers
By the way, when I was chatting to the bloke I bought MLH off, he said he picked them up 3 copies at a game fair a few years ago and knew next to nothing about them... although he did suggest that he thought they may have been a lightscribe disk. |
They tried to make it look like a promo or something.

Plenty of knowledgeable people on this forum, so just ask and for sure you will get the answer. Just don't like to.see people getting ripped off for something that was never sold, no one should be making money from it. :great |
Off topic, but I would pay for Amiga port of NHL 95...
