Replacement flyback voltage.
 

Hey folks,

I have a CM8833MK2 with a new flyback. Been calibrating it and only downside is I notice the screen itself is still quite bright even when running the brightness low (setting brightness using pluge bars). Is it a simple case of dialing in the screen pot?

Yes, you should always adjust screen and focus after replacing the flyback.

Surprised you don't have retrace lines if the screen voltage is that high.

It's not THAT bright, fortunately. I have a pretty excellent picture atm. Just that the black level is slightly elevated and lower brightness
