Alien Breed II CD32 Cheats??

Can anyone explain to me why the AGA cheats and level codes for Alien Breed II: The Horror Continues dont work on the CD32 version?

As far as I can tell they are exactly the same game, the keyboard also seems to work in the game as well.

I find it hard to believe they bothered to change the level codes and nothing else!

Any thoughts?

As to WHY they are not the same as AGA, no idea :D

it often happened so people didn't have the codes as soon as the game got out as CD32 format, several months or years after.

So weird they would bother changing just the codes, I get why they wouldnt want people to be able to use them straight from the AGA version, but it seems games devs for the CD32 never cared to do this

I think some level codes in OCS/ECS games were different to the AGA version too!

I added the following to the cheat codes:

Regarding the last sentence: I did not check on all the level codes because there was not an Intex terminal nearby each time, but I noticed that level codes alone give you 50 000 credits and if you also have the 50 000 credits cheat code activated, you get 100 000.

Regarding the level skip codes, I tried (on Winuae) the different CD32 buttons but it does not seem one of them has the same effect as the N key. So I guess that CD32 who don't have a keyboard can't active the levek skip?

Out of curiosity, in level 11 (the 2nd security passage), there is a laser beam soon after the beginning. Are you supposed to time precisely when you go through it to avoid losing a life? Or is there at trick to it? If the latter is correct don't tell me. I don't plan to play the game in the near future but the day I do, I'd be interested finding how by myself.
