@Genlock This looks to me like a (graphics) driver issue.
@TEOL I guess a youtube-link is missing? Anyway, the scanline option in FS-UAE will probably go away, to be replaced by a choice of shaders. Shaders are already available - just without a GUI to select them - and more shaders are coming in the next version thanks to @guest.r. |
Nah it was this but I linked it as a picture and it only worked for a while. I guess this is more perminent.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3a...ew?usp=sharing I'll try this embed again as well for the sake of it. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_U...zkI=w1440-h720 It looks really cool if we take the rounded edges off and made it all straight this would be the most accurate scanlines ever in a software and we would be the ones to have them. |

Thanks for the tip Frode i will check it out :great |
So many time without update ! :)

Hi Frode,
I'm new to using FS-UAE, but I finally got around to testing it in my Windows 10 setup with 15Khz CRT monitor with the "scale = 0" option and my first impressions are that it's working really really well. I was especially pleased (and impressed) by the real time visual statistics through the "CTRL+F10" view, to check how well and stable it is running. I've settled on the "finish-swap-finish" setting for vsync and latency is very good (low). I understand most of the information in the CTRL+F10 view, but not all. Is there maybe somewhere the complete documentation to it? This is what I understand graphs: - EMU graph yellow shows frame emulation time - EMU graph orange shows time waiting for vsync - Blue graph (on the right) shows audio buffer stability numbers: - EMU FPS number is frame rate from emulation - SYS FPS shows actual video output rate - Blue "40" number is audio buffer setting in milliseconds But there are more numbers in the different graphs than the above mentioned, could you elaborate a bit on those? Also, what do the lines in the blue graph stand for? Hope this is possible. Thanks and best. Quote:

Has FS-UAE been abandoned :(
|
The last commit to the source was by Frode on the 12th of July, but it was indeed just a small one. I wouldn't say it's abandoned while there's work been done just two months ago.

Seems so, like all other UAE except WinUAE :-(

A new development version has been released. Changes in FS-UAE 2.9.7dev:
|
coooooooll thnk thnk for this new version!!! where i can found the list of shaders by guest.r please?
|
See https://github.com/FrodeSolheim/fs-u...fs-uae/shaders for the list of included shaders.
(The files with the commit message "Added shaders compiled/ported/written by guest.r.") Example option to use one of them: Code:
shader = crt-hyllian |
Thanks for the update :)
I had hoped for the framedelay feature to make it into the new dev version, are you still planning on including it? |

I also came around to creating a setup to measure input latency objectively (see the topic for winuae vs real amiga here). I hope to do some similar measurements for fs-uae when the new version is out. Will be nice to see how much of a difference framedelay can make and whether it will "match" our theory / assumptions :) |
Is there any chance of the x64 version for download? The latest dev build gives me some python module "freeze" error. ;/ - 2.9.6 x64 works fine
