Quick question, regarding ports from Atari ST to Amiga, is there much work involved, I mean simply put what does it involve, do you need to modify the dependencies to the amiga library api or are you writing from scratch and using the art from the original game? I'm not too clued up on porting without source code... A game I'd love to see is Downfall the rain/snow one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHZB9nIzZ64 Amazing fun game as a child and Two player, now I'm into my Amiga and I don't see a port of it at all which is a shame.

The two methods exist. A rewrite from scratch provides more control but using original code gives 1:1 port (usually).
However in either case porting a game is several weeks or months full-time work with little reward.

Just to add to that it is rare that an Amiga game uses libraries. They generally kill the OS and bang the hardware.

:great

@Stingray: No matter if it works in perfect speed on 68000 at the moment, how`s about a new video of the current progress? Please complete this game. I would like to play it.

OMG this is the game which name I couldn't remember. We had it in local arcades when I started to go to school. They had to give us little stool so we could reach the wheel :)
I had difficulties with 3rd level. Then one day I saw one ''older''(like 4th grader:) kid that just nudge the wheel to jump over obstacles and reaches the 4 level! I was amazed and told everyone in the class of his achievement! And I could hardly wait to go home and ask parents for the money for coins. Of course I didn't mange to reach the 4th level at first but I was really close and reached it eventually!

Obviously I'd like to play it on Amiga. And that video preview looks great indeed.

They are my favorite YM (AY) tunes ... expertly done. Can't say that about many ST/ZX tunes. This port would surely be great addition, especially if someone could convert the tunes to amiga and give them that extra something :)
