Sorry my fault. Didn't check. Removed the files.

Went to grab the updated packs but after getting the first two, now I am getting a login requester... nothing changed in what I did or was doing....

Anything I am missing?

FTP still up and people on it, so no clue there. Can always try the mirror site =)

DannyBoy 02 December 2015 16:27

Hi guys

Looks like hdd has died at mirror ftp. I'll investigate and bring the box up as soon as I can.

amiga_Forever 02 December 2015 16:34

Please tell me you have a backup. Please tell me you have a backup *Fingers crossed*

How often do you guys download from EAB ? just curious.

Ofcourse, backup is Turrans FTP ;) If I had the only server, then it would be sensible to have local backup/redundancy.

TBH it's fairly quiet at mirror atleast.

Turran 02 December 2015 17:05

"Main" FTP is still up and running (and yes, I have daily backups of it, as well as replicating it to DannyBoy (mirror) once a day as well).

Other times, not so calm =)

Sometimes its just one or two on it..

wanderer 03 December 2015 19:00

I can connect via browser, but Directory Opus' FTP (Windows version) cannot connect any more. Maybe some settings changed?

Turran 03 December 2015 20:15

Nothing changed and 18 people currently online. Any error message?

wanderer 03 December 2015 20:36

"Invalid server name or address". Below are my settings, also tried ftp://grandis.nu/ as host address.

Turran 03 December 2015 20:44

Remove the slash after grandis.nu in "Host address". It should only be grandis.nu

wanderer 03 December 2015 23:36

Thanks Turran, I think I found it's a Directory Opus issue after all, and I managed to connect.

DannyBoy 04 December 2015 20:53

Syncing, approximately 50% done. I have got to admit that I feel crap about the choises I've made. Tomorrow I'll fetch a backup drive for mirror as well. And screw the login limit. Use as many as you need. All I wanted, right from the beginning, was this service to be useful.
Sorry about all of this, and have a great weekend guys.

Deleted by request from Hyperion:
"~Uploads/freedom/amiga os source code 3.1.tar.gz"

I'd like to remind everyone not to upload stuff that could get me in trouble, even if it sounds silly.
