I cannot connect it anymore?

It seems that the old hardware is beginning to fail. My guess it's PSU (random shutdowns without anything being logged). I will bring the mirror up within few days.

For those of you who had hickups or random disconnect from grandis.nu, please try again and let me know if its better or no difference.

Currently using the web-based version and that has always been fine for me :)

Permission Denied.

Why do I get Permission Denied on the mirror FTP? I get in, but can't download anything.

What login do you use?

ma693541 21 February 2015 11:32

Same as the first post in this thread. I get in, but can't download anything. I use Total Commander and I will not install Filezilla.

Turran 21 February 2015 17:15

Yeah, can not sync master to mirror either. Waiting for a reply from DannyBoy.

ma693541 21 February 2015 18:58

It looks like the read/write attributes on the catalogs are in the wrong order.

DannyBoy 22 February 2015 18:25

Hi guys,

Problem should be gone now. Permissions did not allow downloads on most files because they were being synced.

Turran 23 February 2015 07:57

Yepp. Sync ran fine last night. Thanks DannyBoy. =)

The server appears to be down today. I'm just getting "connection failed" timeout errors.

Thalion 13 March 2015 18:37

All fine here, just tested.

Yes it seems to be back online again now.

Turran 13 March 2015 21:23

Replaced the firewall yesterday as it couldn't handle the load. New one had a little glitch =)

SimonPPC 15 March 2015 15:54

In this moment the server is down!

Turran 15 March 2015 19:50

Yes. ISP is working on it. Just died and I thought it was my new firewall. Mighty pissed but its the isp...

Please use the mirror for now.

Edit: Back for now, but they are still having issues. I recommend you stick to the mirror for a while.

TheZone was getting real messy (\TheZone\files), so I've moved the old 2013 and 2014 files into subfolders.

FYI:

The server this was hosted on was getting old and started getting minor problems. For one, its a Fedora Linux server, updated from Fedora 12 to Fedora 21 in steps, so there was a lot of crap one it.

My plan is to move it over to a virtual environment and reformat and rebuild the original physical box.

The first stage of that is done without any downtime, so it is now running on a virtual machine. As you can see, the free space (if you have a real FTP client), has shrunk some. Next step is to either upgrade the disks in the virtual environment or rebuild the physical machine. Have not yet decided which course of action to take. In either case, it will probably be CentOS since Fedora is not really meant for production servers...
