Some screenshots of Galactic: the vision game

I know that this was never released, but there was an official level editor for lemmings that was previewed in Amiga Power (no. 4, p.15).

Oooh, Aggression looks lovely ninetysomethingish. Nice. :)
Can you upload the demo to The Zone? I wonder what more Bloodhouse have programmed besides raytraced Asteroid clones. By the way, have you ever hear about Benjamin and the Alien Incident? It is a point 'n' click adventure also going to be released by Bloodhouse in 1994/1995. |

Okay, it's in the zone now. :)
I've investigated the disk and it's clearly not an official demo because it contains the source code of the first (and only) level and there's almost no game-logic (no score, you can die but you don't lose lives). It's a leaked tech-demo in my opinion... The game was written in BLITZ BASIC 2.1, at least the level editor was written by "David Reed". From one of the files: Code:
Project: Level Editor; Version: 1.5; Coder: David Reed; Date: 17/10/95; Status: 100% Complete The music seems to be stolen from Turrican, btw. ;) |
At least they got taste :laughing
|
I've played Aggression for a while and the gameplay is heavily influenced by the third shmup-level in Turrican 2 where the ship is at drift. The gameplay is OKish - thank god for the infinite lives. The music in the intro is taken from Bloodmoney by the way.

Billy The Kid managed to sneak out, too! Although I don't think there was an official release from Ocean! I had the original disks back in the day... if only they still worked!!

Nice find! :great

I met David Peres few years ago and he told me he had the sources of Teddy bear. The game was virtually finished and just needed a little bit of work to get a final version. But since 2001 I don't have any news from him. He was living in a carribean island and planed to come back to France.
Anybody heard from him? |
