3.1.4 - I just wrote you an email. :)

For the thread, we solved this problem by removing the cdtv.device from bubbob42‘s non cdtv system and he reports the game now runs ok!

Awesome news :great

Such a cool, addictive game and the sound / music, graphics / details are top notch :bowdown :bowdown :bowdown

My 9 years old kid had the chance to play it during the week-end, enjoying every minute with it (except for level endings, when his usual "bleargh! they're kissing!" refrain popped up, which I surely won't miss to point him out in 2-3 years! :D): quite the feat if you ask me! Now I look forward to the boxed edition even more! :bowdown

It's a pretty nice and polished game, those sales are well deserved! :great

A quick little question: what screen size is Worthy using? On my 17" good old CRT monitor, game field looks huge and clearly much larger than other Amiga games?

Running from hdd on my A1200/60, game works without a single problem.

The screen resolution is 320x256. There are lots of games with a smaller resolution, but also many with the same size or some I think that are even bigger (with overscan).

Original CD Worthy is burned or pressed?

Tsak 18 June 2018 14:09

Pressed ;)

Bought the game, still have to try it out.

I don't know if someone from Flashtro is on this forum, but it would be much more useful if the trainers also work on a CD32, controllable with the gamepad...

Glad to hear the sales are going well. Now I'm looking forward to the next Pixelglass game - AlarCity!

A perfect run of WORTHY is recorded, but will wait a few weeks before uploading the video :)

It seems that for the very first time Worthy (and Amiga) gains traction outside our small community and into the mainstream gaming media! :D

Just ordered the boxed version. Thank you for keeping the dream alive!

fryguy 19 June 2018 14:21

Feber (a site that collects fun/interesting news) mentions it too

A Hungarian gaming news site took notice as well:

Yeah, yesterday there was a sudden influx of various posts in a lot of non-Amiga related sites and media. It's just so cool the community is in the spotlight again, even if for a little bit! Makes you realise how popular Amiga was and still is today.

This is also proof that there is a larger audience out there that could help cement the community's efforts to establish a foothold as one of the leading retro platforms. We're obviously far away from this right now, but we're getting there! :)

Nosferax 20 June 2018 02:26

Just watched the trailer (yes I bought it before watching it) and the only thing I have to say is... SHIP IT TO ME NOW! GIMEE GIMEE MY PRECIOUUUUUSSSSSSS. Oh the pain of waiting for the package to cross the atlantic...

remotenemesis 20 June 2018 06:59

Worthy is a lot of fun. Like a mix of Pacman and Gauntlet. Enjoy!
