Looks very promising, since I still cannot use my Indivision AGA II (no core/software still) I am considering returning it and getting one of these instead. Do we have any idea of UK pricing?

Mohican 12 February 2013 23:57

There is no final price at this time.

Mohican 03 March 2013 19:08

The first pieces of XAGA Lite will be sent out for public testing in the middle of March.

Nice!

tesla 03 March 2013 20:41

A3000(t)

Wouldn't this also work with a 3000?

Jope 03 March 2013 21:04

No AGA chipset in the A3000, I'm afraid.

Then again the 3k already has the Amber, so you already have a flicker fixer.

videofx 30 March 2013 18:08

Will it work in a 4000T?

On 29th March started dezz (the developer of ScanJuggler cards) a mailing list. You can subscribe here.

The first post:

Hi,

There are some news on the ScanJuggler XAGA cards...

- The ScanJuggler XAGA Lite version is now ready and the first batch is being shipped.
Local residents only, for now - I had to serve out numerous pre-payed preorders.
A new batch will be produced next month and be available more widely.
(An international price will be announced soon.)

- If you happen to attend the present Revision demoparty in Saarbrücken, look for
Charlie of organisers and ask him to flash a piece of SJ XAGA Lite... :)
(In case he has some free time.)

- New feature: both the normal and Lite version is now updateable from under AmigaOS
(FW+FPGA logics).Expect regular updates with new features...

- The ScanJuggler XAGA (normal version) is being enhanced in some ways:
- It will be expandable, using a special miniconnector.
- The memory (it's on the backside) will be bigger, enabling support for 1280x720
(normal 16:9) resolution and allowing some other features, as well. (It was also
because of harder availability of the former part.)
- These changes needed a moderate redesign of the PCB and other changes as well,
but it's near completion now.

Best Regards,
dezz - developer of the ScanJuggler cards

Will it work on a 2000? Will it work in the US?

mfilos 30 March 2013 22:34

No.
If you check the first post you'll see that it's an AGA SD/FF alas it will work only for A1200/A4000 models.
Dunno if they are thinking about making a future OCS/ECS SD/FF for A500/A600/A2000/A3000 model... so if you have one of these models, better stick with Indivision ECS as it lasts :)
