I also got a new microphone and will be using it for my next video. And if you like my videos could you please spread the word to my channel can grow? Thanks for watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8EJ5Ncf81k&t=437s |
Thanks for this BBOWL ;)
Surely the 2nd stage is in the "swamp" and not a "cave"? |
I like your work. I've liked all of the videos I've watched so far and I'll share them.
Please consider updating your playlists to include the newer "History of..." videos. If you're looking for another thing to look into : "Marble Madness" is a good one, you can discuss the unreleased "Marble Man" sequel which was rediscovered years later and is widely emulated using Mame. An of course the then 18yo author of Marble Madness, Mark Cerney is a living video games legend designing games such as "Sonic the Hedgehog 2", "Crash Bandcoot", "Spyro the Dragon", "Uncharted, "Ratchet and Clank", "Knack" and lots more |

So did some Google'ing and found this: http://lostmediaarchive.wikia.com/wi...1_Arcade_Game)) There are also numerous other webpages saying that the guy who owns 2 different types of the original machine (one with joysticks / one with trackballs) won't part with the ROMs unless people pay $50,000... https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images.../08/aaiy9w.jpg |
Seems so. I was sure that this game was one of those that around about 2003 being a very limited hardware architecture started a flurry of Mame activity. Perhaps the ROM was given to them and the driver written but the ROM never leaked.
|
Yeah, from reading up more it seems that the ROMs have been dumped and the source code compiled in MAME but unfortunately they will not be released to the public :crying
Also, there's this interesting account of how one personal managed to get a working machine: The story of Marble Madness II: Marble Man |
"Marble Madness II: Marble Man" is a similar story to what happened with "Kung Fu Master 2" :sad
... Information ... Video Video |
Those are good ideas, I especially like talking about marble man. What's the deal with kung fu master #2?
|
Another prototype; someone has the board but won't dump the ROMs for MAME inclusion :sad
There's some information on the MAME Forums and probably a lot of other stuff scattered around the internet. |
Okay I'll check it out, thanks
