Great site guys!

Love the stats page in particular! Great to see the numbers seperated without having the same game on another amiga format inflating the game numbers.

One wish to the site would be a better breakdown ability, i.e click on AGA and you get a breakdown of the 1041 AGA titles into commercial, demos etc or click on CD32 and it brings up all the CD32 titles.

I appreciate that may not be possible on the database you are using, great work anyway!

Excellent work, chaps! Really impressive.

I'll be spending a bit of time on that site!!

interesting list, because it also shows the lifecycle of the Amiga in a certain way

Yeah, I would really love to see only games for a certain year, for example.

Still, amazing, *amazing* work on that site.

I am really surprised there were so many new games for Amiga in the last 10 years. I really would like to know how many of those actually run on ECS 68k 1mb machines.

Daff 18 January 2017 08:05

Shatterhand : there are 220 games (or data disks/editors/interpreters) which are OCS/ECS compatibles from 2006 to 2016. And even more if we count RTG games that use simply the Workbench (like 4 colors think games from Charles Jacobs).

Amazing work :bowdown thanks for sharing

I don't know if it's just me, but none of the links work for the database. I've tried using Chrome, Firefox and even Internet Explorer, but no matter what letter or link (like Info) I click, it drops me back on the first page of the database which lists the games by numbers.

Use the link in the first post - the second link has an extra / at the end that messes things up.

Thanks, James!

That is one amazing database, Daff~!

Thank you for the continued work and updates Daff :great

I've merged all your "Update of the Amiga Games list" threads into one; which is quite cool as you can see progress easily over the years ;)

The Amiga Games List, document created and maintained by David Brunet since 1991, was updated the 1st April 2020 with its 50th edition. The total reaches now 13 048 games, level editors, data disks, extensions and interpreters subdivided into the categories as follows:

12 468 games
330 extensions and data disks
147 game and level editors
103 interpreters

The great improvement of this new edition is that the list is now displayed as a database. Thanks to Sébastien Jeudy, there are new functions like sorting the columns (ascending and descending), a new button "ALL" to view the whole list, and the real-time calculation of the statistics. There are also others minor additions and corrections in this 50th edition, as always.

I wouldn`t mind this in a spreadsheet.. is that fella who did it still around. DamienD.. do you have it per chance ?
Or I could throw it in an excel if I could get hold of the whole list.

DamienD 01 April 2020 14:14

@stainy: no, I don't have this.

You'll need to speak with Daff.
