All the best Adrian....I really hope you bring back the indie spirit that you injected into Mutation the first time around! :cool

BTW, I updated the Mutation Software entry on HOL last week when you announced that the website was up for the re-launch. The shit gets real now! :lol

Great news. I have bought quite lot of games, just to support. I unfortunately I have changed that, mostly because I want games for my 68060 / PPC Amigas. I hardly ever play those OCS/ECS games.

I you could finalize Hard flying, I would hapily buy it. I ques you could get help for a graphics here?

AmigaDweeb 07 February 2020 09:32

Thanks guys :great

Packaging dry run tests complete.

All hand signed inside and will feature full colour gloss disk labels soon too.

Note: Wiz won't be ready until Autumn 2020 [Edit: Probably Christmas 2020 all being well].

No worries it's mainly for collectors regards the reborn older titles. I am only writing primarily for regular stock Amigas in reality being OCS/ECS/AGA machines.

Sadly I can't help out with any outside projects as doing this in my spare time away from my usual mobile work etc. Not enough time in day to do this and everything else along with normal life duties :P

Thanks,

Adrian

This is great!
So nice to see old Amiga publishers/developers/sites come back to life.
I will be purchasing some to support this move, that's for sure! :great

I really hope this is a successful venture for you and you stick around. After all, if it's successful for you it's also a great success for Amiga users!

Floppy games; check HOL ;)

..and you can see a "Floppy Disk" image followed by "3.5 Disk" on the packages above.

AmigaDweeb 14 February 2020 15:13

Yes mainly for hardcore collectors only really that missed out 1st time round 25 years ago. All remastered and repackaged.

This then leads into Wiz (an all new Amiga game) later in 2020 also on floppy but digital option too.

Regards CD32 (typed elsewhere)...
'It is outside the scope of what I feel I can offer currently so no sorry not at the moment. Will revisit CD32 perhaps after the 4th title is released but really it's a different set of problems to overcome from my end regards packaged versions etc. Also some of these remasters had to be reworked without any source code/assets and that was quite tricky, especially Tommy Gun I can assure you.'

Hope that explains it anyway.

Adrian

Awesome, can't wait to try this when released :great

When you say "remastered"; how are all the other games different from the 96 / 97 releases?

Yes each game is rebuilt for floppy disk(s) and edited/binary/code repacked with some minor changes. In the case of Tommy Gun, the original had some nasty bugs on boot that have been inserted/fixed. The games binaries then repacked and remastered to floppy before being tested and duplicated. The packaging is all new with full colour gloss disk label(s), also all hand signed inside and we offer a small free extra with all of them later too.

It mainly all started after I saw this and others like it, plus I've been asked down the years for full physical copies of these games, given the first time round they were pretty limited supply back then also in physical form for true collectors to buy. They are not really intended for the casual Amiga player in reality.

This entire exercise was also a great way of working back on Amiga and leading on into Wiz after so long away from the machines and 680x0. All forms of physically packaged games of course cost something to produce, so rather than kickstart it all, I thought I go at it myself with my own funding and effort to bring it to life albeit in small collectable batches from time to time. This is not a mass produced effort and more a labour of love.

If I make any cash from these it will go into funding development of Wiz (no.4) in my spare time for eventual release also later in 2020 all being well.

Adrian

These look very cool. Will there be any promotion videos and screenshots or stuff like that for the games? I have to admit not actually knowing any of them, but I'd love to learn more about them :)

:great You have remember that the first 3 games are physical rebuilds/rereleases of Amiga games I did about 25 years ago, so there are many screens, videos, reviews online of them in action in their older form. They are intended for true collectors that like Physical boxed copies of games.

Wiz is an all new game and nowhere near ready just yet.
