mai, are you aware of the Xmas Lemmings mixuparoo I pointed out in previous posts?
http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...&postcount=194 (I rechecked this post today and it seems idoru has "checked" it but I'm not too sure what else this means, whether the changes have officially been integrated or not. I checked DamienD's DATs thread and it seems the Lemmings names are still unchanged. Someone care to explain?) http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=316947&postcount=5 |

Toki (demo-playable) (1991)(Ocean)[cr QTX][a] Especially this two games were confusing to me, because one of these is even AGA fixed. Who should made an AGA-fix for a Demo-version. But it was difficult for me to see, if it is really a full game or a demo. I am to lazy to play the whole game to have a proof. But since you have played this disks, then we have a proof , thank you. So the "(demo-playable)" flag should be removed. |
Hey guys.. Sorry for not giving much input around here but real life really is taking up 99% of my time..
I have a week off work in June so will try and get some corrections done then! |
Another thing I should point out...... I also mentioned a long while ago about the error in the Super Skidmarks disks TOSEC-wise.
Namely, that the ECS Car Disk is missing in the set. The current TOSEC claims Super Skidmarks to be a 7-Disk game. In the previous TOSEC, where the game was known as "Skidmarks v2.2", it had 8. The ECS Car Disk was present back then. So somewhere along the line, a disk got chucked inbetween TOSEC releases! But why? |

TOSEC corrections Letter R
Update, this time Letter R.
Coming soon "Full correctins Letter Q", there are only a few disks to check. |
Hi guys :)
i don't think i posted this already but before i forgot here they go: (i don't wanna take the job to mai, those are only tnc errors :p) Code:
DATFILE: Commodore Amiga - Applications - [ADF] Code:
DATFILE: X:\dats\current-wip\dats\Commodore Amiga - Compilations - Various Code:
DATFILE: X:\dats\current-wip\dats\Commodore Amiga - Demos - Music Code:
DATFILE: X:\dats\current-wip\dats\Commodore Amiga - Demos - Packs Code:
DATFILE: X:\dats\current-wip\dats\Commodore Amiga - Demos - Slideshows Code:
DATFILE: X:\dats\current-wip\dats\Commodore Amiga - Demos - Various - [ADF] Those errors can be found in the latest Amiga dats that i have (wip) and MUST be fixed, they aren't even content errors but naming convention ones, since they don't follow the TNC rules :\ ... and thats it, don't know how the fixes are going in amiga part and the other systems have cases like these too anyway i hope we can get it fixed or i will have to get time to fix them by myself when i get my current works done :p |
Fussballmanager Gessellschaftsspeil (1990)(D & H Games)(De)[cr SKR].adf

Commodore Amiga - Latest Public DATS Combined rebuildto Directories (TOSEC-v2009-03-15_CM):
Caligari v2.4 (1991)(Octree Software)(AGA)(Disk 1 of 3)[HD].adf Caligari v2.4 (1991)(Octree Software)(AGA)(Disk 2 of 3)[HD].adf Caligari v2.4 (1991)(Octree Software)(AGA)(Disk 3 of 3)[HD].adf is wrong, it's: Caligari 24 NTSC v3.0 (1993)(Octree Software)(Disk 1 of 3)[HD].adf Caligari 24 NTSC v3.0 (1993)(Octree Software)(Disk 2 of 3)[HD].adf Caligari 24 NTSC v3.0 (1993)(Octree Software)(Disk 3 of 3)[HD].adf $VER-strings of mainprograms says: disk1: caligffp.lzh -> Caligari24: $VER: ffp_ntsc 3.31 (5.2.93) disk3: calig881.lzh -> Caligari24: $VER: 881_ntsc 3.34 (5.2.93) Edit: "Version 3.0" can also be found in the mainprogram, so "v3.0" is ok. |
don't know anything about the images as usual but just have to say that if "NTSC" is NOT part of game title it should be added in Video Flag field and not in title :P
|
I have removed all attachments from previous posts and added to this post.
The reason is to have all corrections in one(latest) post. |
...sorry, i have to split the attachments to 2 posts, because limitations.:(

No idea whether this has already come up, but you may want to recheck it in your WIP DATs:

Not found by myself by the way, but by ADFCHK :D and now it comes: Quote:
(Block #399, disk offset 0x31E00) (It seems to me Khalaan (1990)(Rainbow Arts)(Disk 1 of 2)[a] is OK, so re-renaming the [a] to non-[a] might even be appropriate. Should be retested first though.) |

The virus itself is not on disk anymore, probably its a better choice to add [b] flag, because 1 (picture)file has a checksum error(destroyed by the virus) and this causes corrupt graphic display while playing. Whats your opinion? |
Should be [b] then, since the damage is done, but there's no virus anymore.
|
Well, so we would have to retest ALL TOSEC disks!! :banghead
Just try to pick some of the [v Lamer Exterminator 2] ones and check if the virus is there! You will rarely find it ON the disk, but just its mischief: destroyed blocks. I did some random samples and didn't find any virus file on there, but you may prove me wrong of course. (Note: NOT to be confused with Lamer v4, this is another pair of socks, nor were I speaking of that :p) -- OK found three more... Quote:
The [a]-version appears to be error-free. Would be interesting to know the difference between the [a] (39414B7A) and the [a4] (B166B114) version... It pops into the eye that the LAMERs are on lots of the disks from the collection of this guy who apparently transferred a helluva lot of his stuff on Christmas 1996 :) Quote:
