It's really cool emulator. Nice looking. You just boot that cd and replace it with neo geo one. And it works nicely. No slowdowns. Probably loading times are better then on Neo Geo CD cause of DC's faster cd-rom. I don't remember that I have to wait for some game to load too much or spoil the fun with frequent and slow loadings.

I haven't burn neo geo cd for a while but I think they can't be burnt just like any other iso. I think I had to change some values in disc juggler... but info is out there on the net.

Yeah Ill have a look, ive been emulating NeoGeo games with RetroArch on PS3. It's pretty good on there as well.

Also RetroArch PS3 has had a long time waiting update, which is nice.

Looking for Neo4All RC4, isozone has dead links, anyone has this emulator?

Ahh cool thanks, I just fired up an old Neogeo4all compilation pack with 50+ Games on the DC and its awesome. Away from the Hit releases like Mslug, Shock Troopers is a brilliant game :)

That sounds familiar. I know that I had to juggle a lot with Disc Juggler to get fully working cd. But maybe at the end ImgBurn burns them(cdis) correctly without intervention.

No I used IMGBurn DC Plugin to burn Pulstar & Choutetsu Brikinger (Iron Clad) And both and no ingame cd audio. There needs some conversion.

I dont have the time to mess with conversion, so I will be googling more places that have NEO4ALL CDI Conversions

I found some of my notes for burning DC games with Disc Juggler. I found that info on net of course back then but I think it worked for me few years ago.

Boot games (Games that have 1 track and 1 session on the disc). Use these settings:

Mode 1
Offset 0
Block...2048
TOC....CD-ROM

For games that are self-boot (Games that have 2 or 3 sessions on a disc), use these settings:

Mode 2
Offset 0
Block....2336
TOC......CD-XA

I own a CDZ which is bearable for most games loading wise, shame there is very little homebrew happening atm its been 5 years since the last unofficial release.

I made a blog with some new printable covers and loading times among other stuff.

Awesome blog Amigajay. Still slow even on the CDZ, shame really although I'm still tempted to add one to my collection :)

Cheers!

Still slow yeah, but still in line with some CD32 and even PS1 games, just the nature of CD drives at the time, it doesnt bother me that much, its a retro console, im sure people who use tape loading games dont moan about 2018 tape releases taking an age to load!

With the prices that MVS Boards are now, the NeoGeo CD's selling point of "NG on the Cheap" is kind of moot.
