Actually 68k is doable with a decent compiler (such as an experimental build of GCC 4.4) but AGA is too slow to do most of what it's needed to do (particularly transparent blits). I hope a new Amiga-compatible graphics core on FPGA comes out soon. I've heard of AAA+ and Natami but they are taking a long time.
