this is really strange because documentation says "no external rom image required, just a compatible mac os cd"

Mad-Matt 25 October 2015 23:44

The rom image is on the mac os cd. you still need to copy it over and specify it in the ifusion config still.

Hey AMIGASYSTEM
My config file.

AMIGASYSTEM 26 October 2015 19:51

Thanks a lot waldiamiga ;)

AMIGASYSTEM 27 October 2015 00:45

iFusion still does not work, configured A4000 PPC, assigned the right Rom is l'HardFile in the path required, iFusion starts, but then hangs on a black screen where you can not understand what is happening.
Suspicion can be a problem of screen, probably the screen not supported.

waldiamiga 31 October 2015 09:21

iFusionPPC starts but I have gray screen.

Ciao waldiamiga, which screen video and ROM you have chosen? I used that as a ROM file from 1,85 MB (1.945.746 byte), and that from 2,66 MB (2.796.822 byte) well accepted but black screen; for the video card I tried both CGX che P96 resolution 800x600.

Use Rom with Mac OS 8.6 (1 945 332 bytes), and depending on the number of colors I have a gray screen (1 bit) or black (8 bit). The emulator starts up you see.
Sorry for my english

Do not worry waldiamiga, also my English and "by Google Translator". Regarding your screenshot looks like you It has not mounted the CD of MAC-OS. To do this you have to use the old Mount List (CD0), the CDFS Automount CD/DVD on WinUAE can not mount the CD native MAC OS. I attach screenshots that show the setting of WinUAE is Mountlist mounted on AMiGA OS. Can you tell me where I can find your ROM, if it is possible attach the file config of yours iFusion (config-vars).

Yes.

BTW, I don't have the source code to iFUSION anymore, just FUSION.

For iFUSION to work, you need to use the exact version of the warp so library file stated in the documentation. No older or new version will work. It is hard coded for that version only.

thanks for your answer Mr
but does IFusion works on winuae ? do you tested it?

JimDrew 23 February 2016 16:48

No, I have not tested it. I don't even have the executable anymore. When I sold that project, I got rid of everything associated with PPC. Getting PPC to work with the Amiga was a kludge at best, which is why it worked only with WarpOS and not other PPC systems. That was one project I was happy to get rid of!

JimDrew 03 March 2016 06:03

Sorry if this is off topic but I have question, JimDrew.

JimDrew 04 March 2016 05:38

Sorry for the off topic again.

Is the full version of PCx 2.1 (not the demo version) available anywhere?
If yes, where?

JimDrew 05 March 2016 06:17

It shouldn't be, it is a commercial (copyrighted) program. All disks were serialized to the registered owner. V2.1 wasn't the last released version though.
