Ooops, forgot about the clock, my 1200 has no battery. And I just mounted the adfs and copied the unbroken files across.
I didnt even think about the dates changing. |
Jungle Command Work-Disk v1.0
Can't see it in TOSEC and not identified in ADFW DB: Jungle Command Work-Disk v1.0.adf
Sector 1229 destroyed by Lamer Exterminator type B, affects font-edit (160,836 bytes) which appears to be 'The Calligrapher'! ADF in the Zone! |

Good job, guys!
I found a version closer to the original for JC's Work-Disk v1.0. It shows traces of the Kopykat hack. Code:
------------------------ |
Seems that has an extra prog seeilbm that doesn't appear to be on any of the menus or in the s-s, plus copy & delete have been removed so it can fit on the disk!

LSD Docs 44
OK, found another disk that's corrupt, but not the actual files, just the data in them! It has 2 corrupt files and according to ADFW and the DB's I have installed isn't recognised as an LSD Docs Disk, dosen't even have the Mini-Nuke bootblock, but says its possible altered by doscopy so wondering if it's been file copied to a new disk?
Files that are corrupt are: LatticeC62.pt1 (45246 bytes) SimLife..part2 (34606 bytes, should be 46318 bytes) Both files are on the 'real' LSD Docs 44, both files on my disk are valid ADOS files as I can copy them off the disk, but they are CrunchMania data files and both show as corrupt when unpacking? That is strange, as I would expect the files to show read/write errors and not have valid checksums when the files data is corrupt? Is it worth repairing or shall I just file copy the 2 files from the one of the disks on the server? ADF in the Zone to check! |
Your version seems to have been recreated after extracting files from a damaged disk. Some data is missing between the beginning and the end of the file.
LatticeC62.pt3 good file : 43434 bytes bad file : 38066 bytes delta : 5368 bytes > data for 11 sectors are missing (488*11) Why don't you just throw this disk away? There are already many variants of this disk. Code:
CRC32 based identification : |
Yeah, didn't think it was worth bothering with, i'll copy over it with a good TOSEC version :great
