I've always wondered why size matters :(

After all its an Amiga Collection, not Amiga ADF/HDF only Collection?

Dunny 07 June 2019 16:58

Are there 100 worth playing that are not available on other Amiga models? :D

MageMaster 07 June 2019 17:56

Is there a list of Commercial Games with respective sites to purchase?

DamienD 07 June 2019 18:00

The games in my collection that I haven't shared with the public, as they are APC&TCP titles & purchases, are the following:

Code:

Attack of the Petscii Robots
Attack of the Petscii Robots  [PET version]
Bean versus the Animator
Curse of Rabenstein, The
Descent - Freespace - The Great War [AmigaCD] [RTG]
Flyin' High & Data Disks [AmigaCD]
Gunbee F-99 - The Kidnapping of Lady Akiko [AGA]
Heroes of Gorluth [AmigaCD]
Incaman
Inviyya
Lumberjack Reloaded
Marblelous
Marblelous II
Marblelous II [AGA]
Pinball Brain Damage [AGA]
Pong4K [CD32]
Powerglove Reloaded
Pulsator [AGA]  [unreleased] [demo]
Reshoot [AGA]
Reshoot R [AGA]
Rotator
Shadows of Sergoth, The
SkillGrid [AGA]
Slayers of High Toro
Smurf Rescue
Tales of Gorluth II - The Legacy of the Travelling Magician [AmigaCD]

Tiger Claw
Tiny little Slug
Turbo Sprint [AGA]  [Arcade conversion]

Worthy
Zerosphere Collector's Edition

I don't have a list of respective sites to purchase each one from but should be pretty easy to find going off the names ;)

I guess you're right...

If I was to add in CD32 and CDTV titles, they would need to be exclusives, extremely good games or have additional stuff over the floppy based version besides audio tracks.

For example; I do love Defender Of The Crown II :agree

...so from a very quick scan I would probably add these:

CD32:
CDTV:

Let me think about it :p

wiz12 07 June 2019 20:23

Maybe there's no harm with adding a few worthwhile CD based games, in a way this collection is comparable to Mame which included chds.

...but I've added loads of "CD based games" already i.e. AmigaCD ones ;)

Finally, regarding AmigaCD games, I usually add these in as they often require installation, different hardware setups, might have patches / trainers and can sometimes be difficult to get running...

I smell a big update ;-)

teknik667 08 June 2019 01:38

hey Damien
if you are going to add CDTV games, take note that the Prehistorik CDTV has excellent music and sound effects which aren't found in any other version of the game
:)

Sorry, I had a brain fart there I should have said CD32 :D

ransom1122 08 June 2019 02:50

Also Xenon 2 CDTV version is great. Music & SFX combined without interruption.

jabybau 08 June 2019 10:58

Thanks Damien for all these endeavours.......do you think it is worth playing Pong 4k?.
Cheers
)

Gzegzolka 08 June 2019 11:32

Personally I think it would be easier to manually add cd32 games since if someone is interested I believe that person already have required cd images and all that is left is just grab screen shots and save configuration for each game.

I took a look but... doesn't seem anything special.

As above, doesn't seem like anything special over the floppy disk version besides audio tracks and a little speech in the shop :rolleyes

Yup, that was my original thinking ;)

...and the problem is once I starting adding some CD32 / CDTV games; people will then say "but what about xyz?".

Anyway, I'm still trying to decide what I should do...

Well done guys!!! :bowdown

...but you may like this type of game more than me so :p

You can always try the old / free version on Aminet before you decide to purchase :agree

I have to say though, the latest CD32 version has been much improved over the above .ADF.

ransom1122 09 June 2019 01:06

Xenon 2 non CDTV music drops out when you shoot.

CDTV version music doesn't drop out.

zoodah 09 June 2019 20:24

I don't think Smurf Rescue is purchasable. That one was shot down for copyright, wasn't it?

DamienD 09 June 2019 21:59

Correct.

dax 10 June 2019 11:56

Banshee, Flink, Microcosm and Ultimate Body Blows is a must, bro!!! :) :) :)
Prehistorik and Xenon 2 if You ewentually decide ;)
