WinUAE Unwanted Autofire Problem
Anyone else have a problem with WinUAE where the fire button goes on autofire for no reason?

Which version? Does this happen only with joystick/pad or also with the CTRL key?

It's happened in several versions, including the latest.
It happens with the right Ctrl key combination. |

I didn't know it was a control problem. Here I have it with right shift instead. The only way I found out to avoid it was to move the keyboard emulation to the numpad instead of the arrow keys. Then it won't use autofire. At least not by simply pressing shift.

Enter (on numpad) will also enable autofire.

Hmmm, are you sure. I used OS3.9 on WinUAE, and the joystick prefs recognized the two buttons individually.

Hi there
I had a similiar problem with autofire even when using the keyboard.I don't know the xause but it only happened when using a newer version of UAE, so I switched back to 08.8 Ciao |
