CD32 game save problems

Morning all

I'm new to the boards and the emulation scene, so forgive me if this has been asked before.

I have winUAE successfully emulating a CD32 on my pc, and I have got several games running okay.

Problem is, if I 'save' a game to the CD32's memory, when I reboot the 'CD32' or close winUAE, I lose my save games. Is it possible to save games so I can go back to them another day, even if the PC has been turned off?

P.s. I know a lot more about motorbikes than I do about computers, so please answer in non-tech speak hehe. Cheers folks
