Harddisk directory problem.

I'm not sure if this is a known problem - I did a search but failed to see it mentioned.

When I use harddisk directories from workbench windows I can delete files fine. If I attempt to delete files from CLI or Dopus, I get a DOS error - "DOS error code 223 - File is write protected".

I know general problems with harddisk directories are known to exist, but is this one of them?

WinUAE 0.825 WinME.

Forget it, I just tried the latest WinUAE and the problem disappeared.

I'd still like to know if this was a known issue with earlier WinUAE versions.

Yes, certainly. There were lots of similar problems in file system emulation. You could delete the file _UAEFSDB.___ from the windows side and restart WinUAE to circumvent it. However, you'll loose file comments and protection bits if you do.
