screen mess when launching from wb

I often get a total mess on my screen when launching demo's/cracktro's from OS3.9. When this happens, the music also seems to play way too fast and is messed up big time. When I boot the same file from floppy after a reset, it works fine.

So I suppose this somehow has to do with the monitor drivers in my OS3.9? What causes this, and what can I do to fix this?

You just need a screen promoter like this and let it manage your demos on lo-res screens.
