Transdisk/warp makes me a Dull Boy!

Im having problems with transdisk i send the program over to the amiga
following method A on this site

but when im to use the transdisk file after copying it to df0:c
it drops me this message Transdisk: file is not executable.

i have no idea why im getting this.



help would be appreciated

Probably the file has been corrupted during the transfer. Transfer it again using a lower baud rate or a better cable. If using hardware handshaking (which is recommended), make sure the cable has the handshaking lines connected. Make sure the settings for the serial port are exactly the same on the PC and the Amiga.

After the file has been transferred make sure it has the "E" (executable) protection bit set. Also check if the file has exactly the same size in bytes as it had on the PC.

I never experienced your method, but I did it with AmigaBasic. I remember that I had to send the file a second time just after it was received on the Amiga.
I too remember something with the flags.

checked the flags. the file is flagged as it is supposed to... and ive tried alot of different baud rates to send over the file but its still non executable.

i dont have amiga basic so i cant try that way...
