A1200 to LCD TV

Hi all.
I use my A1200 with a RGB scart cable connected to an old CRT TV.
I'd like to connect it to my monitor TV Samsung 2333HD, but no money for Indivision AGA.
What can i do?
Any help really much appreciated thank you.

If you have problem to connect your amiga to you LCD-TV, problem is propably wrongly wired SCART cable. Old crt monitors doesn't care how "well" cables are wired.

This is how it should wired:

http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/am...iga_scart.html

This is wired like it:

http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...&reviews_id=85

price is 17,19€

It works with my LCD-TV (Samsung) and I'm very pleased how it display amiga screen.

What kind of problems? Do you have problems with nodos games also? WHDLoadiz games? Or only system friendly games and apps?

I use basic PAL without any modifigations, like over scan etc. 640x512

I have tried to connect the A1200 to my LG 32LS5600 TV (RGB scart). Monitor settings are :

PAL : High-Res
Colors : 256
Autoscroll (Enabled)

The video quality is pretty good, but do you think i can improve it?

Improve it how? You are not going to get new videomodes by connecting it to your TV by SCART, you are limited by the modes your Amiga can display.

If you are having ghosting, banding or other issues, then the problem is probably the cable.

Hey, that's an LG, not a samsung

Does it remove the interlacing? (Do you see the screen flickering?)

Perhaps a combination of overscan in AmigaOS, and stretching in the monitor menu could make it acceptable?

Well, that's good at least. Then I would try to have the monitor stretch the image out to fill the screen. Have a look around the menu and see if you can figure it out.
You can also use overscan from the prefs folder to expand the screen area a little bit, but it will not be enough
