Lightbulb Your Suggestions

I have rescently ressurected my standard A1200
Does anyone have any reccomendations for GOOD hardware upgrades without towering the system?

All sugestions appreciated.

Get:

1) Hard drive. 1/4 Gigabytes is more than enough
2) Accelerator. May I recommend, at least, a Blizzard 1230 with an 030@50 and FPU. If you feel like getting more power, get a Blizzard 040.
3) A nice memory SIMM for teh accelerator. Like one of 128MB

That's yer lot! oh, you might want a Squirrel PCMCIA SCSI inteface... or fit an ethernet card in the PCMCIA port instead.

Cool, am currently running a whippet fast PCMCIA serial port at the moment for my modem (goes like shit off a stick!) am using iBrowse and Termite TCP for various things, cant get my 150mb Quantum hard drive workng so am reduced back to a disk only system does anyone know a good place in the uk to get a better version of workbench? im still using 3.0 and well......it sux!

All info appreciated, thanks alot.

P.S. would like info on connecting an old commodore 5.25" floppy drive to an a1200!!

Easy1541 should come all Infos needed to build
such a cable, IIRC. And it comes with all neccessary software.

Well, you should replace this with a Clockport serial bus... Find it at Eyetech!

I think there's even a program like 64HDD for the Easy1541 cable... id like to try that out!
