Computer freeze when using PCMCIA network
anybody else had this one...
when using a PCMCIA network card on the a1200, doing file transfers halts the system, sometimes after 2 seconds, sometimes after 10 mins, but it always happens. there seems to be no logical reason, but the 020 drivers cause much more problem than the 000 drivers. i've tried both 1.6 and 1.7 of the cnet.device, and i've tried amitcp and miami with the same result. i've increased stack size too, didnt work. i've tried different cards the current one is an RE450CT, or something.. i've tried a different a1200 too! i have latest setpatch. anybody else have this problem? any input appreciated! |

I had the same problem when i used the 020 turboio version, but no problems when i use the standard 020 version. maybe that helps.
