A600 memory board battery
Hello,
I need to get a replacement battery for my AMRAM6001 issue 2. How do people go about removing the old ones ? Where do you get replacements and what voltage should it be ? They look like central heating back up batteries.....one and the same ? EDIT - AHA ! One of these.. Battery Backed Up Clock The clips are soldered to the battery right, ok no problem then, where can i get a new one ? |

I wouldnt get a new one if I were you.. it will work fine without one. Who needs a clock anyhow? If you replace it get a NiMh battery (that wont leak) rather than a NiCd one.
If you have to get one then http://www.maplin.co.uk and find a branch near you.

It looks like one of those barrel-shaped batteries they used in the 500+/2000/ etc.
Amigakit.com also have those batteries. (NiMh) |
