What is this metal A500+ case?

Hello, go this odd looking A500+ case ina bundle from a carboot. Can anybody tell me what it is?

From what I can tell you can slot an A500+ into it and add a cd drive without using a tower etc. It has 2 cables going from the inside to the outside of the metal case for two joysticks.

I believe it is was a cheaper way of upgrading an A500+. Any ideas? thanks, pics below.

it's an A500 specific monitor stand, nothing else...

I have one of those, without the funky stickers. The only labelling on it is a simple "Amiga" on the upper left corner on the front. I don't recall it being marketed under any particular name, and all it did for you was serve as a stand for your monitor, with a shelf for your external floppy drive(s), in addition to providing extensions to move your mouse and joystick ports to the side. It did make a nice stand, but it probably has little value.
