Hi,
I'm having some troubles with my amiga, my current config is the following:
Amiga 1200 Desktop Case (Mobo Rev 1A Roms 3.1)
Original Phase5 Blizzard 1260 + 64 Mb RAM
Elbox FASTATA 1200 MKIII
40Gb 2.5" Western Digital HDD
External 52X CD-ROM

Before That there was only the AMIGA and Blizzard card i used it mainly for games, but i was getting tired of disk swapping and was looking for a bether amiga experience so i decided to go for an HDD + CDROM (and i also bought OS3.9).

Now after i installed the HDD + Fastata i went to install workbench 3.1 and at a certain point problems apeared, at first there were some ramlib guru's then i managed to install OS3.9 and setpatch was allways crashing at startup, other time the OS just booted but screen stayed black the system was working fine i could see that it was, foloppys were recognised by the system and with some blind mouse work i could see disk activity, now i sorted the guru's errors out it was a PIO mode problem apperently when i use the blizzard card i can't put a PIO mode bigger than 3 on the Fastata or else i get the mentioned errors, but after i sorted this another problem remained the black screen problem, now with the first problem sorted i could dedicate more time and figure some facts about the Black screen problem, so it only happens if have the amiga on for let's say 2 hours straight, turning the blizzard card off does not solve problem, and even removing it makes no difference, if after i have the problem i turn the amiga off and let it "rest" for some minutes the problem disappears at least for a while and then reapears.
I thought about a heath problem but it's freezing in here with very low ambiente temperatures and it doens't seem very hot when that problem happens.
I also thought about a power problem and so i retired the original amiga psu and i am currently using an ATX power supply to drive the amiga + external cdrom.
Any help would be apreciated.
