A1200 PAL/NTSC Hardware switch
Hi There.
I have a PAL A1200 which I want to run in NTSC mode by default. I know I can change the display mode between PAL/NTSC in the early-boot menu every time i switch the machine on, but is there a switch/jumper on the motherboard so I can permenently fix the A1200 into NTSC mode? THX Bert |

If you are booting into workbench, do this:
-copy "NTSC" from sys:storage/monitors to sys:devs/monitors -a reboot might be required here, I'm not sure -go to sys:/prefs and using "ScreenMode", set your screenmode to NTSC High-Res (sys is the drive you're booting from) But if you're running games from floppy, I can't be of help. |

i recently asked for this and it's not such an easy mod, as to wire a switch somewhere and that's it. Here's the the thread where we discussed this:
