Yes that's the Hungarian game I just fixed.
I've got a problem with controlling in the emulator, and I still don't know what's the cause.
KEYBOARD control works fine (FIRE = SPACE), but JOYSTICK control doesn't ( = only up and down cursor keys work, right and left don't).

This must definitely be an emulator issue (tried several versions).
Maybe anyone can test this one on his real miggy (yes, it works now )

I have the same problem. Tried deleting LPT ports, disabling that, recalibrating, etc. No luck. Just have to wait for a better version of WinUAE.
I used WinFellow for best results.

Toni, could you try to debug this, please?
I wonder if it's indeed an emulator problem (this is not even a proper assertion, though)

Thanks. Another program added to growing list of UAE problems

Then here is my entry into the 'can't get it working no matter what I try' sweepstakes:

Fly Fighter (1989)(Digitial Magic)[cr Tristar]

Has anybody had any luck getting past the title screen of this obscure game?

Couldn't we create a MAIDEN "Motherf***ing ADF Is Driving Everybody Nutz" list here at EAB? I'm pretty sure we all bang our heads bloody now and then trying to get a game running in WinUAE/Winfellow.

It doesn´t have to be advanced at all, just a thread with the first post being a master list (like Codys MIA list). The list should include Title(!), Problem (e.g Can't get past title screen) and (if available) Working config(e.g WinUAE 0.8.8 R8, ECS13, disable DF1-DF3)

Of course, the moderators will have to check the thread for new requests/solutions and update the master list.

I know there's some Amiga sites (BTTR for example) that holds this kind of information, but I don't think they are updated very often. Here, we have a dynamic community with devoted members blah blah blah....

How about it, folks?

I think that's a great idea Walker

How about it RCK? Create a small thingy (like an announcement) where we can add/update the list of games that don't currently work

OK, it's there. Somebody will probably get it to work with no problem in some old (or new) version of WinUAE or in Winfellow or something. Beware of drawn-out trainer/intro.

Moderators can already create those kind of thread
One of you start one thread with the actual information we get about those game.
Use the "stick" fonction in the moderator options. (mini-annoucement)
keep the thread up until he dies.
"de-stick" the thread.

Arrow

Fly Fighter is one of the games I made privately available to Toni because of COLLISION problems.
FF worked fine in WinUAE 0.8.14 except collision.
(NO WAY for 0.8.8 R8!)

Please give 0.8.16 R4 or 0.8.17 R2 a try. If this doesn't work for you I'm very interested in your version, too

0.8.16 R4 crashed with an 0E/blue screen error for me during the trainer text part.

//UPDATE: I stand corrected. I mucked with the settings some and actually got the game to work. Nice looking game, but as you said, collision issues (which is convenient since the game seems impossible with collision working!)

Thanks for the tip...at least I know what the game looks like now!

Thumbs up

Well done!
Now give 0.8.17 a try and set collision detection to FULL (very important). Should work fine, even with collision detection.
