If you exit the intro with right mouse button => trainer.

Try an older WinUAE version (1.5.1 works fine for me), the intro uses quite stupid code to check the mouse buttons, might be possible that WinUAE doesn't handle that properly.

OT bit
It's a game plenty of reflection you're playing, marcuz. Ahem...
/OT bit

XOR trained Deflektor on the CPC to allow choosing of start level, may be you could start over on this version since it's not a very graphic intensive game.

It is not an emulation bug, just a feature of some joysticks and mouse.

Pullup resistors in button lines: stupid right button check code does not work
No pullups: works

Set joystick to <none> before starting emulation and it should work. (or remove second button mapping in Input panel)

Technically current setup is wrong (joystick having pullups) because single button joysticks don't have connection to second button line but 2+ joysticks may have them. This setup breaks less badly coded programs than having no emulated pullups

(I guess I really have to add option for pullup resistors now or have option for 1 or 2 button default joystick configuration..)

EDIT: it does not work on the fly because emulated pot capacitors aren't properly discharged when switching devices.

Deflektor has 60 levels, and some are very akin to others.

@Toni

You might want to test Second Samurai 2, too, for a little bit of annoyance sake
But don't forget a test on the REAL thing!
Since the next bit is about my *real* Miggy where I had tested/experienced it on (A500, now R.I.P.)

- Intro menu only "calmed down" when I
-- either PHYSICALLY disconnected the mouse
-- or made my hand act like a surgeon's hand, i. e. by keeping the mouse moved in tiny amounts until it "calmed down" and the "race" through the options finally stopped

Try it out! Joystick plugged into port 2 of course.
With this very game, this is *NOT* an emulation bug. Rather, it's a flaw in the concept.
