amiga tool for writing atari disks?

Hi,

does anybody know if there is an amiga tool for writing atari disk images to disk? I'd like to check out some ST demos but currently have no way of getting them onto disks. I was hoping I could use my amiga for this purpose.

Cheers
Dalton

Aren't Atari disks the same as PC disks? then you could use crossdos or something.

Actually, any software that writes an image to disk should work, as long as it doesn't modify anything from the source image.

You could try TransADF or http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/DImage

That software will only work with Amiga-formatted disks, not PC disks. ADF is not a complete image in the sense that it assumes various parameters of the disk, like being Amiga formatted.

Are you sure? Because I remember imaging PC DOS disks with transdf but I could be wrong. In any case, I can test it when I get home.
An ADF can both have an Amiga DOS disk or a special format NDOS disk, hence why I think it doens't care and it's just a raw dump of the disk contents. Of course it doesn't work with specially formatted disks (like originals, but not even Amiga)

If Amiga is able to read PC disks - then I'm sure there must be a way to write the Atari images via Amiga?...

Another option is to purchase a cheap USB floppy disc drive (some are 2 x faster than standard drives!)

What about this:

http://aminet.net/misc/emu/551conv.lha ?

It says: "Converts a real Atari-800-disk, .xfd-image or .atr-image into a real Atari-800-disk..."

I used PCTask to do that, but, I think, only 80 track images worked.
