WB Joypad Button Remapper?
Does a Workbench app exist that can remap a second button on a joypad to emulate up?
If not, would it be possible to create one? Last edited by Djay; 13 October 2011 at 22:25. |

It can be done with WHDLoad, but the slave itself needs to be coded with the option, it's not something that can universally be switched on and work with every game.

Without looking at the options in WHDLoad i thought it might be possible...
but what about at a more fundamental level, so it works with everything? An app that remains in memory and intercepts the inputs made by a controller? Last edited by Djay; 14 October 2011 at 04:15. |

It's possible to intercept and change input events sent through the AmigaOS, but I'm not sure if joystick events are even sent at all, and in any case games typically go directly on the hardware effectively bypassing any such program.
